A trunnion mounted ball valve is a quarter-turn valve that uses a hollow, perforated and fixed/supported ball to control flow through it. The ball rotates without moving on the horizontal axis, whereas the seats float. We also manufacture as per api 6d ball valve standard.
A trunnion-mounted valve means the ball is constrained by bearing and only allowed to rotate. The advantages of the trunnion ball design are lower torque, ease of operation, and minimized seat wear. Superior sealing performance at both high and low pressure.
