The Blow-Out Proof Stem floating Ball Design precision engineered valves have machined solid stainless steel ball and hollow ball with a relief hole in the stem slot to prevent the build-up of cavity pressure. In contrast, the valve is in the open position.
This valve is a seat-supported ball pushed by upstream pressure towards the downstream seat to ensure sealing. The DN of the floating ball valve range is limited by the seat’s material’s capability to support the ball’s pressure, temperature and weight.
